Norwegian rallydriver Anders Grøndal is about to start his first season in WRC2, and Formula Drift star Fredric Aasbø met him at a pre-event test earlier this winter. And though this is "just" a DS3 R5, he really shows how fast it's possible to go on ice and snow.
Earlier this winter he raced against Citroën driver Mads Østberg at a national event, both in a DS3 R5. While it was a really tight and short rally, Grøndal actually edged in front of Østberg. Ending 5 seconds in front of Østberg (his ambition for Sweden is winning), he proved his pace is really on top in front of Rally Sweden, where he will face JWRC champion and WRC2 rival Pontus Tidemand. WRC2 will be really exciting this year!
