It’s only been two weeks since Rally Argentina and we’re back at it for the second half of the South American doubleheader. This time it’s a whole new ballgame.
Argentina played a mixed bag, with two previous winners/favorites finding trouble. Ott Tanak was hit with an alternator failure while leading on day 2, forcing him to retire and restart on the final day. Fortunately he managed to climb back up to eighth place on Sunday. Elfyn Evans was not so lucky, losing control in a fast corner and managing to hit the only boulder within sight dead center. In the Fantasy games it was B dash rian who took the win, in no small part to being one of only two players to put their faith in Andreas Mikkelsen. Mikkelsen paid that back with a strong second place result.
Now for Chile, the round that’s easy to preview but hard to predict. The WRC has never held a round in Chile so it’s brand new for everyone. Word on the stages is they look to be loose and fast, with lots of trees. That’s about all there is. So good luck with that.
