Some say that the WRC is boring, without any profiles, that the drivers aren’t as good as in the old days and so on. That might to some extent be true, but there are some proof that we are entering another golden age. Let’s look at the age of the current WRC-drivers compared with the age of WRC-Champions when they won their first World Championship.

The list is made up of the age of World Rally Champions since 1977, and drivers who has done a round of the WRC in 2017. Age as of 19.11.2017 for the current drivers, and at the last day of their first winning season for the World Champions.
