Familar faces like Antoine L’Estage will be participating in the race as he hopes to get started on his 9th Canadian Championship. Alan Ockwell will not be beside him for this race so there may be a learning curve with new co-driver Darren Garrod. Garrod is a long time rally co-driver based mostly in the UK. Alexandre Béland will be chasing L’Estage off the line in his orange and black Subaru, code named “The Beast”, in hopes of a much better finish than the 10th they had last year. Maxime Labrie and his co-pilot Robert Labrie will be third off the line in there 2002 Subaru WRX.

Some other interesting rides will grace the roads of Maniwaki this year too. Sylvain Erickson and co-driver Chloe Erickson will again be ripping there Hyundai Accent down the course. Though last year we learned the car may be a ways away from a Hyundai. The 2WD entries also include a 1979 Mazda RX-7 piloted by Mal Swann, a 1968 Porsche 911 piloted by Graham Bruce, a Subaru BRZ driven by Jason Bailey and a 2003 Mini Cooper entered by Philipe Benoit. These classic and unconventional rides should keep the fans on there feet!

Highlights from last years race!
